Jason Lin, our Marketing Tax Assistant, is a student at Pennsylvania State University studying Computer Science and Philosophy. He brings creativity and strategy to the team by managing social media, advertising, and promotional content that showcase our tax and financial services. From eye-catching designs to engaging campaigns, Jason helps share our brand story, connect with clients, and make taxes feel simple, approachable, and smart.
Tax Apprentice
Lein Hightower, our Tax Apprentice, is a high school intern excelling in both Math and English. With three years of experience with tax worksheets, profit and loss prep, business home deductions, and hands-on training, Lein supports the accountant throughout the tax preparation process for individuals and small businesses, bringing strong analytical skills to every task.
Tax Assistant
Synai Hightower, our Tax Assistant, is a Drexel University student studying English and Pre-Law. She ensures the office runs efficiently by coordinating client appointments, assisting with secure document uploads, and delivering outstanding customer service. Synai also answers client questions, provides necessary resources, and supports the accountant with paperwork and preparation, creating a seamless experience for individuals and small businesses.

Tax Accountant
Frances Lenn Velazquez’s passion for financial literacy and advocacy for taxpayers has been the driving force behind her career in accounting and tax strategy. A proud Valedictorian graduate of the Community Academy of Philadelphia Charter School, Frances earned her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Accountancy from Holy Family University in 2023. She is currently enrolled in Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law Graduate Tax Program and the Estate Planning Certificate Program, deepening her expertise at the intersection of taxation, estate planning, and wealth preservation.
With over 16 years of diverse experience in education, business administration, accounting, and taxation, Frances currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Philadelphia’s youth. As a tax professional, she prepares individual, small business, and partnership returns while delivering comprehensive guidance on tax planning, budgeting, business formation, payroll, accounting, licensing, financial management, commercial insurance, retirement, and employee benefits.
Frances is known for her hands-on approach and unwavering commitment to protecting and advancing the interests of her clients. By collaborating with trusted financial and legal professionals, she designs tailored investment and tax-saving strategies that help individuals and business owners achieve lasting financial success and security.
